Kyle Busch Wins 47th Career Race

Kyle Busch won the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 27, 2018. The victory was Busch's 47th career win in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, and his second at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Busch led 137 laps of the 400-lap race, and held off a late charge from Kevin Harvick to take the checkered flag.

Harvick finished second, followed by Joey Logano, Martin Truex Jr., and Brad Keselowski. The Coca-Cola 600 is the longest race on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule, and is one of the most prestigious events in the sport. Busch's victory is a major boost to his championship hopes, as he now leads the standings by 31 points over Logano.
